Alderman Vlilliams made a motion that the Water Superintendent be authorized to employ a
DOZER to fix the channel from the lake to the creek, this motion was seconded by Ali r -
Kincaid, and was -passed unanimously by the Council
City Engineer Carl Smith supmitted a -number of bids that he had received for fur'
fishing valves, firehydrants,and valve boxes, and 8400 flbs of lead, after discussion,
Lderman Feathers made a motion that the City Engineer be authorized to purchase the vanes,
Lrehydrants and valve -boxes from Barry Cooper supply Company at Springfield'Mo.this motion

The Ordinance was read in its entirety -by the Clerk, and Alderman Williams ma
a motion that the rules be suspended and the Ordinance placed on its second reading, this
motion was seconded by Alderman White and was passed unanimously by the Council.
