Alderman Kincaid brought up the questionlwacations for City Employees, after iscussion, Alderman McGoodwin made a motion that the matter be referred to the Insuranc ommittee to review the existing RESOLUTION providing for vacations and sick leaves, and eport back to the Council with recommendations, this motion was seconded by Alderman incaid, and was passed unanimously -by the Council. A RESOLUTION authorizing t;.e Mayor and City Clprk to execute a contract etween the City of FayetteviAe and Fayetteville Suburban 'dater District Noel was.intr aced, Alderman Feathers made a motion that RESOLUTION be approved, this motion was sec v Alderman Richardson, and was passed unanimously by the Council. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FA`iETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of'Fayetteville, Arkansas be nd they are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract between the City of ayetteville, Arkansas and Fayetteville Suburban W"ter District No. 1 of Washington Coun rkansas for and in the name and behalf of the City of Fayetteville,said:'contract having een presented to the City Council and its contents insofar as the Engineering aspects re concerned having been approved by the City Engineer of the City of'Fayetteville, rkansas and its legal import having been approved by the City Attorney of Fayetteville, rkansas. ADOPTED THIS loth DAY OF APRIL, .19509 �1 Approve v n � Mayor Attest::•: �r t 1, ty Clerk nal The City Attorney reported that Sewer Improverleilt Districtrwas in the process being closed up, that there was approximately $1,400, in dank to the credit of the Dist: after all obligations of the District had been paid, but since the cost of making a refl of this amount to the property, owners would be so great that the Sewer Commissioners hal asked the Chancery Court to make an order for disposition of the funds, and that the Chaneery 5udge had made an order that the funds be paid to the'Sewer Department with a stipulation that the funds be used only for Maintonance and repairs of the present Sewe: System, Alderman Richardson made a motion that the City Accept the funds for the Sewer Department and that the Sewer Committee agree that the funds will be spent in accordant with the order of the Court, this motion was secInded by Alderman Feathers, and was pas unaimously by the Council. There being no further business, Alderman Kincaid moved to adjourn, seconded by Alderman Williams; which was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared Council adjourned.
