"ROGERS Alderman Feathers made a motion that the Street now known as " ROGERS ROAD" be changed to
ROAD" the name of "NORTH SEQUOYAH DRIVE", this motion was seconded by Alderman Kent, and was
tolbe p ssed unanimously by the Council.

to l attend at Little Rock, to be held November -14-15 & 16; -this motion was seconded by Alderman
Ark+Mun- Richardson, and was passed unanimously by the C8uncil•

Minutes of the regular meeting of October 31st,were'read and approved.
R quest he application of Housing Incorporated for a building permit for the erection of two
for Bldg dpartment buildings on Lot T wo(2), Block Four(4), County Court Addition to the City of
permit ayetteville came up for a hearing,and after discussion.9 Alderman Richardson made a motion
denied hat the application be denied, this motion was seconded by Alderman Feathers, and on roll
all by the Clerk, the following vote resulted; Ayes:Richardson, Feathers, McGoodwin, Bohe,
Williams,andnKincaid. Nays White and Kent. And,the Mayor declared the application denied,
s there -were 6 Ayes, and 2 Nays.

T14e Mayor reported that the City Shop Building and equipment had all been
Vi ter laid for by -the Street Department, and that it had been the intention of the Council for

assume. official action had been taken, Alderman White made a motion that the Water Department
z cost of assume one-half the cost, which total cost -was -as follows: Shop Building 4p12,203.88 and
Bldg & the equipment $20831.63, or a total of $15,035,71, making the amount to be assumed by the
Equpmt Pieter Department $7,517.85; this motion was seconded by Alderman Kincaid, and was passed
unanimotasly by the Ceuncil.

T& Mayor reported that the First National Bank had offered to let the City have the
r Bradley tract of land, being a part of NE-Swv, Section 10-16-30, containing 62 acres, more
t to or less, for what the bank has invested in it, amounting to p6,991.971 Alderman Kincaid
Brad- made a motion that the City Water Plant be Authorized to purchase the said tract of land

The Mayor reported that the City Engineer 'recommended that the'Assistant Engineer
e allowed the sum of $20.00 per month for car ekpense,-Alderman White made a motion that)
he Assistant Engineer be allowed $20.00 per month7for.-car expense, effective November 1st,
9492 this motion was seconded by Alderman Williams, and was passed unanimously by the
ouncil.
Alderman McGoodwin made a motion that the Mayor be authorized to attend the
elebration at Huntsville, November 10th; as the official representative of the City,'this
otion was seconded by Alderman Richardson, and was passed unanimously by the Council.
