Absent,: Alderman Williams* To repeal Alderman Bobo made a motion that the Ordinance Committee be instructed to prepar Ord No an Orinance to repeal Ordinance number 925, providing for exemptions.from paying the san- 925 itation fee, and have the Ordinance ready to present at the next regular meeting of !she Council, this motion was secomded by Alderman Feathers, and was passed unanimously by the Council* Vacatiobs Alderman Feathers, chairman of the Insurance committee,presented the recommends & Sick tion of the Committee with reference to Vacations and SICK LEAVE for all City Eoployeea, Leave after discusaLon, Alderman White made.. motion that the Committee prepare a RESOLUTION, inn conformity with the -recommendations, and present it at the next regular meeting of the Clouneil, this motion was seconded by Alderman Richardson, and was passed unanimously by t Council• Farmers The Mayor presented the request Of A.T.Robinson of the Farriers Market that to park during the Strawberry Season, the farmers be exempt from the Parking Meter regulation, on on W* Y�est center Street between Church and Locust Streets,af,ter.discussions it was agreed to genter giant the request, and it was suggested that all motorists be.asked to oo-oterate by not parking in this area* The Mayor reported that he was having a check made of the 2 hour parking mete3 To Check in the second block from the Square, and Alderman MoGoodwin made a motion that the Mayor 21hr write a letter to the Karpark Corporation, inf ormdngthem that a check was being made to meters determine how much the receipts were from.these meters, and put them on notice that the City might want to return some of these meters, this motion was.seconded by Alderman Bobs, and was passed unanimously by the Council.
