Fayetteville City Council met in regular sesssion. Monday,.April 25th, 1949.
Present: Powell M.Rhea Mayor# J.W.MaGehee City Clerk, City Attorney Price Diekson,City

Parking Transfer Company on West Mountain Stneet, bn the^weat side of the entrance be removed an
_.Meter to bethat a " NO PARKING " space be marked off there, as there is not -room for large trucks t

The Mayor presented the request Df A.T.•Robihson of the Farffiers Market that
ring the Strawberry Season, the farmers be exempt from the Parking Meter regulation, om
st center Street between Church and Locust Streets,after discussion, it was agreed to
ant the request, and it was suggested that all motorists be asked to co-operate by not
rking in this areae
The Mayor reported that he was having.a check made of the 2 hour parking meter
n the second block from the Square, and Alderman McOoodwin made a motion that the Mayor
its a letter to the Karpark Corporation, inf ormdngthem that a check was being made to
termine how much the receipts were from.these meters, and put them on notice that the
ty might want to return some of these meters, this motion was.seconded by Alderman Bohe,
