Plus 2% Sales Tax. Gross bills take a discount of fifteen (15% per cent if paid on or before tenth (lnth) of the month following the date of the last meter reading. The minimum amount acceptable for a full month's service is $1.nn per aor.th, plass tax. The minimum amount acceptable for a fractional month of service is 5n¢, plus tax. No bill of $l.nn or less, for one month's service is subject to a discount. xxxxxxxxxxxxXXXXXxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxyyyXXXXXXyyyyyyyyyyyXYYYYyyyyyyyy 1� The Mayor then announced that -this ras the time set for hearing rotests again st rthe- issuance_of-the $?827,Onn of -Wdte3�worke• Re.yep}ie- Refunding -and Im- rovement Bonds of,the A y, dated December 1, 1948, for the purpose of refunding valid nd legally binding indebtedness of the waterworks and financing the construction of etterments and improvements to the waterworks system serving the City of -Fayetteville, s authorized by Ordinance No. 943, passed and approved on the 29th day of October, 194$ nd that the ordinance and notice of the meeting had been duly published in The North - est Arkansas Times as evidenced by prodf`of publication now on file in the office of he City Clerk. The Mayor then called upon anyone desiring to do so to present ob- ections or suggestions as to the issuance of the bonds. No one appeared to present any such objections or suggestions. Alderman Whitfield then moved that the Mayor and City Clerk �ceed to carry out the instructions for he delivery of the said bonds as set out in inance No. 943, if the referendum approved the Ordinance, which motion was seconded Alderman Gray The motion was unanimously adopted. There being no further business, Alderman Whitfield moved to adjourn, econded by Alderman gray, which was passed unanimously by thevCouneili and the Mayor eclared the Council adjourned till 7:30, P.M.,November 29, 1948.
