Present: Mayor G.T.Sanders, City Clerk J.PJ.McGehee „ City Attorney Price Dickson, City Engineer E.T.Brown and Aldermen; Hale, reathers, Harlan, Bohe,Williams, Whitfield,White and Gray. Minutes of the regular meeting of October 25th, and adjourned meetings of October 28th, October 29th and November 2nd,194&.were read and approved. Alderman Hale, chairman of the Water Committee,.presented the October report of the Water Department, Alderman Whitfield made a mobion that the rept&..t be re- ceived and filed, seconded by Alderman Gray, which was passed unanimously by the Council. Committee I Alderman Whitfield made a.motion that the Council go on record as favoring recommend- the appointment of a committee of three(preferably not members of the Council) to repre- edfor sent the Council in dealing with.the contractor and supervising the construction, if the Project project is approved by the voters, this motion was seconded by Alderman Gray, and was passed unanimously by the Council.
