)fayetteville City Council met in regularsession Mondayi. May 31, 1948•
Present: Mayor G.T.Snders, City Clerk J.W.McGehee, City Attorney Price Dickson, City
Tngineer E.T.Brown, and Aldermen; XXXX4 Feathers, Harlan, Bohe, Williams, Whitfield,
White and Gray. Absent Alderman Hale.
Ilinutes of the regular meeting of May 17th, and adjourned meeting of May)l8th, were read

Aderman Whitfield made a motion that the bills be allowed as approved, seconded by alde
INhite, which was passed unanimously by the Council.

t to be Alderman Feathers made a motion that the First Fire Zone shall not be extends
tended at the present time, to include a strip 126 feet wide, west of University Street, runnin
North fr&m Williams Street to.Dicl:son Street, this motion was seconded by Alderman Willi
University and was passed unanimously by the Council.
