Section 2: It appearing that there is much d-iversity of opinion as to the advisability of 'the expenditure of the. proceeds of the sal.e. of $750000.00 in Fayetteville Hospital Bonds, and the City Council being desirous of ex - pending said sums for hospital p,irposes in the manner in which the majority of its qualified electors voting on the question direct, an -emergency is here- by declared to exist -and this ordinance shall be -in full force and effect from and after its approval by a majority of the qualified electors of the City of Favetteville, Arkansas voting on the question either at a general election or a special election called for the pl)rpose of determining the will of the qualified electors aforesaid. Approved: _ --Mayor Refund Alderman White made a motion that the WRter Department be authorized to make a refund $600 g / f $600 to the Fayetteville Public Schools for water used and paid for by said schools, Water eptthis motion was secomded by Alderman Gray, and was passed unanimously by the Council. Alderman Hale made a motion that the DAM SITE COMMITTEE be authorized to 3,000 spend up to $3,000.00 for the drilling of TEST HOLES on the proposed sites for the dam author - or the water Department, this motion was seconded by alderman White, and was passed ized for inanimously by the Council. Aldrman White made a motion that the Street committee and City Attorney be nstructed to prepare an Ordinance for the next regular meeting, governing the operation f the Parking Meters, this motion was seconded by Alderman Whitfield, and was passed nanimously by the Council. jiJ..
