Qldefman Gray made a moti&'n that the bills be allowed as approved, seconded by alderman
Adkisson, which was regularly passed by the Counoil

recom- the City A,,,,mministration Building, after discussions alderman Hale made a motion that the

by alderman Harlan, and was passed unanimously by the. Council•
ensue The question.of taking the census of the City of Fayetteville came up again
of City for discussion, and alderman Whitfield, made a motion that .the Census Committee from the
Council confer with the committee from the Chamber.of Commerce', and that the Committee be
authorized to pledge up to $750 toward the expense, and,df it was agreed to take the census
that arrangements be made to start immediately, this motion was seconded by alderman Grays
and was passed unanimously by the Ccnrioil.

Ty,e Mayor stated that the Police force was rade uate to handle the increased
buy population, when school statts;,.after discussions alderman Williams made a motion that the
trol Mayor be authorized to purchase another patrol car, and to put on one or two patrolmen, the
r & number to be determined after conferring with Chief of Police, Pearl Watts# this motion was
patrolseconded by alderman Hale., and was passed unanimously by the Council.
TIke Mayor stated that he had a responsible party wanting to contract to
con -gather the garbage in one-half of -the City, after discussion# alderman Hale made a motion
Ct Por that the Mayor be authorized to make a contract with this party, this motion was seconded by
rheas alderman Harlan, and was passed unanimosly by the Council.
study I Alderman Hale made a motion that the Water Committee be instructed tol
Berger investigate the report and recommendations of Mre Mehlberger and report back to the Council,
sort this motion was seconded by alderman Oray, and was passed unanimously by the Council.

Alderman Williams made a motion that the expense of the Fire Chief 1
men be paid to the Firemen's Convention at Hot Springs, this motion was seconded by
,derman,Whitf ield, and was passed unanimously by the Council.

business, alderman Hale moved to adjourn,
passed unanimously by the Council, and the
