Mr. & Mrs E.W.Brooks and their fittorney, C.D:Atkinson, were present, with refee ,ice to the closing of an alley in Maplewood Addition, after discussion, alderman regory made a motion that.a hearing on the prmposition be set for March 17, 1947, this otion was secomded by alderman Adkisson, and•was•passed unanimously by the Council. (At this time Alderman Hale was granted permission to leave, in order to catch tr$it) Alderman Stubblefieid introduced an Orddnance, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE CREATING .iE SEPERATE OFFICE OF FIRE CHIEF OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER JRPOSES." The H.A: Hopper Re -Plat of Lot 22,of the Subdivision of the NEh of SWI., of Pction 9, Township 160 Range 30 West, was presented by alderman Stubblefield, who made motion that the Plat be approved by the Council, with the understanding some changes be ade that had been agreed to by Mr Hopper, this motion was seconded by alderman White, and as passed unanimously by the Council.
