Alderman Hale made a motion that the Council go on record as favoring the re- sk moval of the Esplanade from•Arkansas Avenue, and that the matter be referred to the Stre emoval 'Oommittee, to see if any thing can be worked out with the University Authorities toward f the accomplishment of said removal, this motion was seconded by alderman Bronson, and wa splanad.epassed unanimously by the Council. There being no further business, alderman Adkisson moved to adjourn, seconds lderman Bronson, which was duly passed by the Council•, and the Mayor declared the Counc djourned.
