Present: .Mayor G.T.Sanders, City Clerk J.W.McGehee,-City Engineer E.T.Brown, Fire Chit Henry George, Aldermen; Bronson, Gergory, White, Stubblefield, Williams, Bohe, Adkissn and Hale. Minutes of the regular meeting -of December 23, were read and approved. Municipal League for 1947 dues,"amounting'to $120.00, this motion for 1947 was seconded by alderman Adkisson, and was passed unanimously by the Council* dues to - - .M.Lea gue The Clerk presented the reports of Henry George as Building Inspector for the Months of November and December, also the annual report for the year 1946, Roy Nix, e ort: as Sewer Service Collector, J.W.McGehee, As City Collector and as City Clerk for the end month of December, alderman Bronson made a motion that the reports be received and filed filed, seconddd by alderman Hale, which was passed unanimously by the Council. Harry Jackson and Carl Ferguson. appeared before the Council, and requested Annexation that the Council agree to exclude some land -between Highwaji No.45 and the OLD WIRE agreement ROAD from the territory- proposed to be taken in by annexation,"stating that said land with was to be used exclusively for -HOG PASTLIRE,'and that if the Council would grant their Jaokson & request, that they would instruct their attorney to withdraw the suit -that had been Ferguson filed agaist the City with referece to -territory proposed to be annexed to the City, after discussion, alderman Gregory made a motion.that the.request be granted and the lines changed accordingly(Exact description of land to be excluded to be worked out by the City Engineer), this motion was seconded by alderman Stubblefield, and was pas6 passed unanimously by the Council* Rose Lawn The •question of ROSE LAWN DAIRY distributing milk in the City of Fayettevw Dairy came up for discussion, and it was agreed that the Mayor have the Chief of Police to notified to stop notify Rose Lawn Dairy to cease delivering milk in Fayetteville, at once., until a per - delivering mit from the State Board of Health is obtained, milk in City The Mayor presented a bill from. -.,the City Hospital for Hospital''Service N Iwt Hinkl Ifor Newt Hinkle, who was injured -iri an.explo"sinn of the -Boiler in'City Administration Hos Bill building, while working as Janitor; in December; 1937; after discussion, alderman p Bronson made a motion that"the amount of"the bill $60:00, be paid, this motion was seconded by alderman Gregory, a was passed unanimously by the Council.
