Alderman Stubblefield introduced an ordinances entitled, "AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE
THIRTY MINUTE PARKING ZONE",
The Clerk read.the Ordinance in its entirety, alderman.dregory made a motion
that the rules be suspended and the ordinance placed on ita.second.reading, this motion
was seconded by alderman Williams, which was.passed unanimously by the Council.
The Clerk then read the Ordinance the.second time,.and.after.discussion, ald

AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE THIRTY MINUTE ZONE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE# ARKANSAS:
Section le That the parking space on the South side of Center Street and the
East side of Block Street on the Public Squares same being the north side and the west
side of the Post Office, be and is hereby restricted to the parking of vehicles for no
longer than thirty minutes•continuously.
Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violatirig.the.provisiona of section
one of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty.'of a misdemeanor and .upon conviction shalll,
be punished by a fine of not less than one dollar -nor more than twenty-five dollars.
Section 3e All ordinances or parts'of ordinances in -conflict -herewith are herei
repealed, and it appearing -that the above described restricted area is necessary for the
public health, peace and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordiv
