Absent: alderman Adkisson: fcffi$fi Fi: n ;i;?i723Siiif i8!fiVag NS4�t2QN�3;'?[d$sFr�14�i:iX The Mayor stated that the meeting had been called for the purpose of considering the purchase of a tract of land adjacent to the City Park, containing 16 &7/ acres, belonging to Charles Morrow Wilson, and stated that Mr Wilson had agreed to sell said tract of land for a purchase price of $22,500.00,less a DONATION amounting to) _-�/� -$7,000'.00 from Mr.Wilson, leaving the amount of cash to be paid by the City to amount %-o$15.950 0&00 XXXXx-UxXXM:� after discussion, alderman Gregory made a motion that the f City purchase the said tract of land for the purchase price of $22,500.00, less the �i 7,000.00 donation to be made by Mr. +lilson, leaving a balance to be paid in cash of v-15,500.00 on delivery of deed and abstract, and approval of title, this motion was sec- onded by alderman Stubblefield, and on roll call by the Clerk, received the unanimous vote of the Council Alderman Stubblefield made a motion that the Park Committee be authorized to proceed with the negotiations and attend to all the details in connection therewith till completion of the deal, this motion was seconded by alderman Hale, and was passed unanimously by the Council;' Tpere being no fubther business,•alderman Bronson moved to adjourn,seconded by alderman Stubblefield.. which was duly passed by the Cauncil, and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned.
