Present: Mayor G.T.Sanders, City Clerk J.W.McGehee, aldermen; Bronson and Stubblefield.
It was noted that on account of the Horse Show being held, there was. no quorum
present and alderman Bronson made a motion that the Council adjourn till 8 O'Clock Wednesday
Nig�hht, Pune 26th, 1946, this mobion was seconded by alderman Stubblefield, and was passed unan-
im?sly bt the Council; and the Ma$ror declared the Council adjourned till -8 O'Clock Wednesday

Alderman Stubblefield made a motion that the bills be allowed as approved,
,seconded by alderman Bronson, which was regularly passed by the Counuil,.
May The Clerk presented the May reports of Roy Nix, as Sewer Service Collector
reports and V.James Ptak as Municipal Judge, alderman Gregory made a motion that the reports be
received and filed, seconded by alderman Williams, which was passed unanimously by the
Council.
34St Its I Alderman Bronson, chairman of the Light Committee made a motion that three
t be Street• lights be installed, Viz: one at Maple & Wilson Streets, one on South Hill street
installed alt Treadwell, and one.on South Washington in "Negro Hollow", this motion was seconded by
ldermanWilliams, and was passed unanimously by the Council.
To open Alderman Gregory called the attention of the Council to the need of opening
&IWork up and working some streets in some sections of the residential districts, and recommende<
new Sts that the City arrange for some Mlditlonkl bquipment that would be suitable for that kind
of work and made a motion that the Street Comittee, Engineer and the Mayor check into the
e�ondition of the equipment at the Airport and see if it could be made usable, this motion
was seconded by alderman Bronson, and was passed unanimously by the Counoil�
o submit Alderman Stubblefield made a motion that the Mayor be authorized to submit
bids gor lids for two motor powered mowing machines, Surplus Propetyy at Camp Chaffee, this motion
pcper was seconded by alderman White, and was passed unanimously by the Council'.

Alderman Gregory, chairman of the City Park Committee, outlined a plan of
Landscape some LANDSCAPE WORK at the City Park, which he said would cost approximately $100.00, and
Citi Park made a motion that the Committee be authorized to proceed with the work, seconded by alder
man Stubblef field, which was passed unanimously by the Council.

Quan't� Huts Alderman Gregory called atttention of the Council to the increasing use of

motion was seconded by alderman White, and was passed unanimously byrthe Council.
