Alderman Stubblefield introduced an Ordinance, entitled " AN ORDINANCE PRO-
VIDING FOR THE DEPOSIT AND ADMINISTRATION OF FUNDS DERIVED FROM THE SASE OF SEWER REVENU

BONDS AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE N0. 892 OF THE CITY OF PAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, AMENDING
SECTION 9 CF ORDINANCE NO. 892 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES:
The Ordinance was read in its entirety by the Clerk alderman Bronsmn made a
notion that the rules be suspended and the Ordinance placed on its second readdng, this
notion was seconded by alderman Stubblefield, and on roll call by the Clerk, was passed
unanimously by the Council.'
The Clerk then read the Ordinance the second time, and after discussion,
alderman McRoy made a motion that the rules be further suspended and the Ordiance placed
its third and final reading, this motion was seconded by alderman Williams, and on roll
call by the Clerk, was passed unanimously by the Council.
The Clerk then read the Ordinance the third and final time.
The Mayor then put the question " Shall the Ordinance pass"?, and on roll call by theCle
the following vote was recorded, Ayes: Bronson, Gregory, Stubblefield, Williams, McRoy,

was seconded by alderman Adkisson, and on roll call by the Clerk, the following vote was

Absent and not voting;Banks. And the Mayor declared the Emergency Clause adopted, as the

ORDINANCE NO 893.
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FCR THE DEPOSIT AND ADMINISTRATION OF FUNDS DERIVED
FROM THE SALE OF SEWER REVENUE BONDS AUTHCRIZED BY ORDINANCE NO. 892 CF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 9 CF ORDINANCE N0.892 AND FCR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEV ILLE, ARKANSAS &*
SECTION I. Section 9 of Ordinance No.S92 of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,
is hereby amended to read as follows;::'
'SECTION 9. After the bonds have been executed as herein provided, they shall b,
deliveredoft. .. ephens Investment Company, of Little Rock, Arkansas, upon the paymen,

in cash of the purchase price of $127,875.00 and accrued interest to dage of delivery
to the City Treasurer for the account of the City. Said funds shall be deposited as pro
vided by Section 5 of Ordinance no 892; that is to say, in a lawfully designated depos-
itory, in the name of the City and designated " Sewer Construction Fund", in trust,secu:
as its other trust funds are secured, and disbursed solely in payment of the cost of sa
additions , extensions and improvements, including engineering and other expenses inci-
dent to the construction, but only on warrants or vouchers signed by the chairman of th
Sewer Committee and by the City Treasurer briefly specifying the purpose of the expendi
ture, accompanied by a certificate signed by the consulting engineer for such construct
that an obligation in a stated amount has been incurred on account of the cdst of the
construction and to whom such obligation is owed, except that no such certificate shall
be required before payment of the engineering fees. Any unexpended balance remaining
shall be paid to the City Treasurer for.the account of the City and deposited by him in
the Server Revenue Bond Fund hereinbefore defined. When the funds are so deposited, the
Treasurer shall take from the Bank, or Banks, an agreement to applycthe same as provide
in this Sections"
SECTION 2. It appearing that the proceeds of sale of the Revenue Bonds autho
ized by Ordinance No.892 of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas,should be available and
ready for deposit shortly after April 5, 1946, and that said proceeds should be deposit
in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance; an emergency is hereby declared to
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effM from and after Apr , 1946.

Alderman Bronson made a motion.that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to go to
Little Rock for the purpose of signing the Sewer Revenue Bonds, when notified to do so,
this motion was seconded by alderman Adkisson, and was passed unanimously by the Council

AN ORDINANCE FIXING ANNUAL LICENSE FEES IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLEs ARKANSAS,
OR MOTOR -DRIVEN VEHICLES OF NOT TO EXCVM FIVE (5) HORSE POWER AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas:
SECTION One: The annual license fee in the City of Fayetteville, Arkansassfor
otor-driven vehicles of not to exceed Five (5) horse power, shall be $2.50 per annum.
SECTION, Two: Said license fees shall be payable at such times as are now or may
ereafter be provided for other motor vehicle licenses and shall be subject to the same
iscounts and prorations as are now or may be hereafter provided for other motor vehicle
