Absent: n. lderman Adkisson. The Mayor stated this was the date that had been set for the sale of ale of $125,000.00.0f 2% Sewer Revenue bonds maturing from one to, twenty-five years, after discussion it was agreed that the bonds would be callable in inverse numerical order 25.000 after three years from any supplus inctyha;$ewer Funds, and after Ten ,years from any fund, and purchaser to pay all expencne:;in connection with printing of the bonds', als ewer legal approving opinion of Rose,Loughborough, Dobyns and House��t • There being four. bond buyers represented, Viz:. W.R.Aens Investment Company, onds T.J.Raney;;*. Sohs, Walton, Sullivan & Company, all of Little Hock, and the Mcllroy Bank of Fayetteville.' Eachconb of bidders put up a certified check for �J12,500.00., after which the • bidding proceeded with the following result:Starting @ 98,.,, and closing @ 102.30, the last bid of 102.30 being made by W.R.Stephens Gnvestment Co.,_. -:was declared successful bidder. The Mayor declared W.R.Ste%ns Investment Company•was the successful bidder, alderman McRoy made a motion that"the sale be approved, and all certified checks be returned except the W.R.Stephens Investment Company check, this motion was seconded by alderman Banks, and received the unanimous vote of the, Council. There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, seconded by alderman Williams, which was, duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the gouncil adjourned. hestiV44 Anproved . The absence of a quorum was noted, and alderman Bronson made a motion that the Council adjourn toll 7-30 P.MeMonday , February 11 th, 1946, this motion was seconded by alderman Stubblefield, and was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned till 7-30 O'clock, Monday February 11th, 1946.
