Minutes of the regular meeting of'November 26th, were read and approved.
The following bills were presented, after their approval by alderman Bronson, member;of

Aderman McRoy made a motion that the bills be allowed, as approved, seconded by alderay
man Bronson, which was regularly passed by the Council•
The Clerk presented the reports of Henry George as Fire Chief for the month of October,
ndas Building Inspector for the months of October and November, the Police reportp,
October oy Nix, as Sewer Service Collector, J.W.Mcgehee as City Clerk and as City Collector; fat
he month of November, and Alderman Stubblef ield presented the }Toy*ember report of the
NRv• City Water Plant, alderman Bronson made a motion that the reportsl;be received and filed,
reports•6econded by alderman Banks, which was passed unanimously by the Council.

rotest by the Clerk, protesting the issuance of a BUILDING PERMIT to F.A.Humphreys to build'or
]ildA erect a business house or structure on the Northwest corner of Lafayette and College'
ermit bvenues,after discussion, alderman Banks made a motion that a date for the hearing on
of the Petition be set for December 27th, 1945; this motion was seconded by alderman Bronso
F. .HumphreVhich was passed unanimously by the Council.
Alderman Stubblefield, Chairman of the Water Committee, presented the mat-
s ilary ter of some SALARY ADJUSTMENTS in the Water Department, after discussion, alderman
a 7ustmt Bronson made a motion that the matter be referred to the Water Committee and Water
re erred tp`Superintendant, with power�to act; this motion was seconded by alderman Banks, and was
Com. passed unanimously by the Council.
Alderman Hale made a motion that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized.

There being no further business, alderman Hale made a motion that the
Council adjourn, seconded by alderman Bronson, which was duly passed by the Council,;and
the Mayor declared the Council adjourned.

After waitng till 8 O'clock, and no quorum being present, alderman McRoy
oved to adjourn till 'Thuxsdayz'Crit 7-30 O'clock, P.M., this motion was seconded by
lderman Bronson, which was passed unanimously by the Council, and the`Mayor declared
he Council adjourned till'ThUraga•y`:ftt 7-30, P.M., December 27th, 1945•
