The Clerk reported that the 2 fnen, who were appointed at the regular meeting of
une 25th, as Commissioners for Street Improvement District No 47, had failed to qualify,
nd alderman Hale made a motion that John Bynum and D.R.Eoff be appointed as Commissioner
.n this District, seconded by alderman Gregory, which was passed unanimously by the Coun-

The Clerk presented the June repprts of the Police Department, John Bynum as Car
tarts J.W.McGehte as City Clerk and as City Collector, alderman Bronson made a motion

Alderman'Gregory reported that he had been informed that a committee had
Masons been appointed by the Masonic Lodge for the purpose of trying to work out a deal with

Masonic Lodge and see if an agreement could be worked out, this motion was seconded by
alderman Williams, and was passed unanimously by the Council*

The question of transferring some of the City funds to the McI1Roy Bank
me up for discussion, and alderman Stubblefield made a motion that the funds of the

There being no further business, alderman Hale moved to adjourn, seconded
