Present: Mayor G.T.Sanders, City Clerk.J.W.McGehee, City Attorney Price Dickson, City .Engineer E.T.Brown, Fire Chief Henry George, Aldermen; Bronson; Gregory, Stubblefield, Williams and Hale. The Clerk presented the June repprts of the Police Department, John Bynum as Car tarts J.W.McGehte as City Clerk and as City Collector, alderman Bronson made a motion hat�ie reports a received and filed, seconded by alderman Hale, which was passed unan- mously by the Council. Alderman'Gregory reported that he had been informed that a committee had Masons been appointed by the Masonic Lodge for the purpose of trying to work out a deal with o'buy the City Council for•the possession of the Eastz of the 3rd floor of the City Adminis- �'3rd tration Building, alderman Stubblefield made a motion that the matter be referred to the loor wilding committee together with alderman Gregory to meet with the committee from the Masonic Lodge and see if an agreement could be worked out, this motion was seconded by alderman Williams, and was passed unanimously by the Council* Water o be ransfer ed to The question of transferring some of the City funds to the McI1Roy Bank me up for discussion, and alderman Stubblefield made a motion that the funds of the ter Department be transferred to the McI1Roy Bank, effective August 1st, 1945, this tion was seconded by alderman Williams, and was passed unanimously by the Council. There being no further business, alderman Hale moved to adjourn, seconded y alderman Williams, which was*duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the ouncil adjourned. Approved) mayor
