The Clerk presented the repoets of John Bynum as Cer=Marker, The Police Department. y report8nd J.W.McGehee as City Collector and as Cit Clerk, E.T.Brown Supt of the Water Department presented the report -of the Water Department (yAllreports for the month of May), alderman Adkisson made a motibn,that the reior.ts be received and filed, seconded by alderman Hale, which was passed unanimously by -the Councill ul Youn I Alderman Hale reported that the Committee appointed for the purpose of iring an Architect to draw plans for the Hospital, had met and voted unanimously to recom- ommend mend employing Paul Young, alderman Bronson made a motion that the recommmendation be approved, as this motion was seconded by alderman Banks, and was passed unanimously by the Council* chitect The Mayor reported that some property owners'in Waneetah Heights had made a request for permission to connect with the Sever, f some kind of a deal could be worked out" eetah that would be satisfactory to all parties concerned alderman Bronson made a motion that the ghts matter be referred to the Sewer Committee for investigation, and then report back to the Council uest this motion was seconded by alderman Mcroy, and was passed unanimously by the Council* er " nection I There being no further business, alderman •McRoy moved to adjourn, seconded by alderman Banks, and was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor ddclared the Council adjourned Attest, y eerk -- Approved &401+ i
