Fayetteville City Council met in regular session, Monday, May 28th, 1945.
Present:. Mayor G.T.Sanders, City Clerk J.W.McGeh e, City Attorney Price Dickson City
Engineer E.T.BEown, aldermen; Bronson#4 Gregory, �nks, Stubblefield# Williams#,AcRoy,
,dkisson and Hale. •
Minutes of the regular meeting of May 14th, were read.and approved.
The following bills,.were presented, after their approval by alderman_-MbR.oy,_chairman of

(Alderman Bronson made a motion that the bills be allowed#:as approved, seconded by alds
man Gregory, which was regularly passed by the Council.
The Clerk.presented the report of V.James Ptak as Municipal. Judge for the month
April of April, alderman McRoyy made a motion that the report beireceived and filed,•seconded
Report by alderman Williams', which was passed unanimously by the CouncIll•
Hls The Mayor stated that -the hospital Board wanted a committee to employ an•Architeb�
Board to submit plans for enlaegement of the Hospital Btildings, that the Board had -selected
to employ H.L.Pearson, Stete Bates and N.A.McCattney to represent the Board, and wanted 3 from
#� y the City Council to work with the Committee from the Board, the Mayor appointed alder-
ant Gregory in.addition to aldermen McRoy and Hale, who were members of the PLANNING
rihitea BOARD from the City Council.
Offences It was called to the attention of the Council that Wednesday(The 30th) would be
to close MEMORIAL DAY alderman•McEoy made a motion that all City,Offices be closed all day
May 30th.May 30th, this motion was seconded by alderman Hale, and was passed unanimously by the
Council.
There beim mo further business alderman McRoy moved ..to adjourn, seconded by
alderman Banks, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Coun-
cil adjourned.

It was noted.that on account og the Commence men exercises at the University,
PIU,wa no Quorem presentsand alderman McRoyy made a motionthat the Council adjourn till

was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned till
Tuesday, June 12th, 1945•
