Alderman Gregory made a motion that the bills be allowed as approved, seconded by alderman
McRoy, which was regularly passed by thev Council.

• To levy taxes for the year 1944, upon the real and personal property
within the corporate limits of the City of Fayet teville, Arkansas:
BE IT RESOLVED BY•THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS
SECTION le That the•rate of taxes for the CITY GENERAL FUND purposes,
for the year 1944, be, and the same is hereby ec are o. a Five (5) Mills
on each dollar of asssebsed valuation of all real°and persona properly
within the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, as shown
by the Assessment 'gooks'for State and County purposes, and that the same is
hereby levied, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and direct-
; ed to certify this levy•to the'County Clerk of Washington County, Arkansas,
