Alderman Bronson made a motion that the bills be allowed, as approbed, seconded by aldertna
Adkisson, which was regularly passed by the Council. " .I
The Clerk presented the reports of Roy Nix, as Sewer Service Collector, G.T
Sanders as Ex -officio Chief of Police, V.James Ptak as Municipal Judge, J.W.McGe)}ee as
May City Clerk and as City Collector, for the month of May, Alderman Stubblefield made a motic
reports that the reports be received and filed, seconded by alderman Bronson, which was passed ups
imously by the Councils
There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn,
seconded by alderman Bronson, which was duly passed by the Council., and the Mayor declare
the Council adjourned* 0 1

Alderman Stubblefield made a motion that all City offices be closed Wednesday at noon,
for the DEDICATION PROGRAM of the CITY AIRPORT, this motion was seconded by alderman
Banks, and was passed unanimously by the Council*
Alderman McRoy made a motion that the City offices be closed all day Monday
and Tuesday, July 3 & 4th, this motion was seconded by alderman Stubblefield, and was
passed unanimously by the Council* .
The Mayorbrought up the question of having POLICE Officers at Airport Wednes
ay to handle the traffic, and stated that the Sheriff had promised to have 2 menuonithe
round, and that the State Highway Depto had promised at least 2 men to help with.the
raffia ,
There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved
