SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES," The Ordinance was read in its.ehtirety�by the Clerk, and alderman Bronson ade a motiln that the rules be suspended, and the Ordinance placed on,its second readin his motion was seconded by aderman Sanders, and on roll call by the Clerk, was passed , nanimously by the Council. The Clerk then read the Ordinance the second trine, and after discussion, lderman Sanders maHe a motion that the rules be further suspended and the Ordinance placed n its third and final. reading, this mention was seconded by alderman McRoy, and was passed nanimously by the Courcil. The Clerk then read the Ordinance the third and final time. he Mayor then put the question " Shall the Ordinance pass",'and on roll call by the Clerk he follwing vote was recorded, Ayes: Bronson, Banks,Gregory, Hosford; McRoy, Sanders, tubblefield, and Williams. ORDINANCE N0.8-7-5 AN ORDINANCE RE -ADJUSTING RATES OR CHARGES FOR THE USE OF AND THE SERVICE R RED BY THE SEWAGE SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEV ILLE AMID FOR OTuER PUR POSES . RE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEV ILTIE, ARKANSAS: Section 1. that the rates 01, charges for the use of and the service render y the Sewage System of the City of Fayetteville which shall be paid by each land owner hose _premises are connected with and use such system by or through any part of the Sew ystem of 'L -,'re City of Fayetteville,or whose premises in any way use or are served by su ystem are hereby re -adjusted in accordance with the following schedule: MONTHLY RATE Residences ................................... ""35 each per month Business houses, Offices and larger users, including fraternities and boarding houses .70 each per month Hotels 5.00 each per month University and Veterans Hospital 10.00 each per month Fayetteville public Schools, including the highschool, and church property used for religious worship, but not including manses, parsonages and other buildings used as residences No charge: Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith ar ereby repealed and it appearing that the revenues produced by the rates in effect prior he enactment of this ordinance have been more than sufficient to meet the debt service nd reserve and that there is ho necessity for continuing the rates heret6fore charged nd it further appearing that the rates fixed in this ordinance will be sufficient to me 11 of the financial demands for which said Sewer Service collections are used, an emerg s hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from an fter the 1st day of August, 1943. Alderman McRoy moved,to go into executive session, secoded by,alderman Gregor; vhich was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared the ou cil in execul ive session, after discussion of various administrative matters, alderman Sanders made s' motion to go out of executive session, seconded by alderman McRoy, which was passed nanimously by the Council. amd the Mayor declared the Council do regular session.
