Fayetteville City Council met in regular session, Monday, lune 14th, 1943.
Present Mayor Geo.Vaughan, City ClerW J.W.McGehee; City Attorney Price Dickson, City
Engineer E.T.Brown, Building Inspector Henr-Y i4eorge, Police Chief Dan Allen; and aldermd�
Bronson, Banks, Gregory, Hosgord, McRoy, Sanders, Stubblefield and Williams.
Minutes of the regular meeting of May 31st., were read and approved*

Alderman Bronson made a motion that the bills be allowed', as approved, seconded by alder-
man McRoy, which was regularly passed by the Concil.
The following reports for4 he month of May were presented by the Clerk: Henry George
May as Building Inspector ana7Chief of the Fire Department, Roy Nix, as Sewer Service UollectioAp
Reports �, V.James Ptak, as Municipal Judge, and J.W.McGehee as City Clerk and as City Colector.
Police Chief Dan Allen presented the report of the Polce Department and alderman Hos or
presented the report of the Water Department, alderman McRoy made motion that the re-
ports be received and filed, seconded by alderman Banks, which was passed unanimously
by the Council. ,
Light --The need of another LIGHT in the vicinity of the LEGION HUT was discusse
at and alderman Sanders made a motion that the matter be referred to the Light committee,
with.powef to act, seconded by alderman Stubblefield, which was passed unanimously by

There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn,,second
by alderman Hosford, which was duly passed by the Councils and the Mayor declared the
Council adjournde.
