Webb H.Williams 16 len Srai I Alderman Banks, chairman of the Fire Committee, made a motion that the salary of 7 55 5.00 '#�, Allen Strain be raised from $50.00 per month to $55.00 per month, effective April 15th, 1943o crease this motion was seconded by alderman Sanders, and was passed uljanimously by the Uouncil of The question of DELINQUENT CAR LICENSE, came up for discussion, and.alderman Sanders 19 .00 license made a motion that,tbe Street Department pay the amount of x1.00 to the Police Department Alderman Ward 4 natty for each CAR OWNEPI, cited in by them, who has to pay x5.00 for a car license, and the same o be pai rule to apply to Eldo Cole, the NIGHT WP_TCHMAN, provided that in case it is neccessary too 13 officers serve any papers to enforce the collection, that in the case of ELDO COLE, he must serve all papers on any one cited,in by him. This motion was seconded by alderman 14c#oy, and was passed unanimously by the Council. The Clerk, then called the roll and the following alderman answered present. Bronson, Banks, Gregory, Hosford, McRoy, Sanders, Stubblefield and Williams. There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, till Monday, May 3rd, at 8 -O'clock, this motion was seconded by alderman Banks, and was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned till Ma rd.
