A Purchase -Contract from the Fayetteville Public School District, to cover balance due on the OLD JEFFERSON SCHOOL SITE, was read by the Clerk, alderman Sanders • made a motion that the matter be referred to the Finance Committee and the,City Attorne. for approval, this motion was seconded by alderman Bronson, and was passed unanimously the Council* Council •rhe question of the Council meeting every,two weekq,instead of ,every week to meet was discussed, and it was decided to try it out.for 2 or 3 months . every 2 d • weeks** There being no further business, alderman McRoy, moved to adjourn till April 5th,this motion was seconded by alderman Gregory, and was passed unaniously by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned t611 April 5th, 1943. Alderman Gregory, member of the Finance Committee, presented a check from Donation the Arkansas' Wes tern Gas Company for $l 50.00, as a donation to the City to help defray from the operating expenses, alderman McRoy made a motion that the check be accepted and Ark.W.Gas placed to the credit of the Sanitary Fund, this motion was seconded by alderman Banks, Co. and was passed unanimously by the Council.
