ReES 0 LU T IO N. 1st Nat Bank, Since it is more practical from an accounting standpoint and more effici- City ant and less apt to become complicated in handling the City Funds, we hereby desig- Depository nate the FIRST NATIONAL BANK of Fayetteville, Arkansas, as the depository of all active City funds, and any funds that are transferred to any other rank will be treated as inactive accounts only. All warrants will be drawn on the designa.todddepos.itory,and when funds are needed they will be transferred from other banks back to the FIRST ITAT- IONAL BANK for currAnt distribution. In addition to, the fact that it is a better method of bookkeeping, less con- fusing and less complicated to use the o ne bank as an active depository, it is also recognized that the FIRST NATIONAL BANK has in the past rendered a service to the City at a time when our funds were terribly depleted and at a time when the cooperation of a bank was sorely needed. We,therefore, feel that it is."good business and to the advan- tage of the City that this plan, which in reality is the present arrangement, be con- tinued.
