Fayetteville City Council met in regular session, -Monday, February 8th, 1943.
Present.: Mayor Geo.Vaughabp City Clerk J.W.McGehee, City -Attorney Price Dickson, City
Engineer E.T.Brown. Police Chief Dan Allen, Building Inspector Heriry George,and alderm
Bronson, Banks, Gregory, Hosford, McRoy, Sanders and Stubblefield.

Alderman Bronson made a
motion
that the bills.be allotted,
as approved, seconded by
alderman Stubblefield, which
was
regularly passed by the
Counvil.

The January reports of Henry George as Building Inspector and as Acting
oris. Fire Chief of the Fire Department were presented by the Clerk, alderman Sanders made a
motion that the reports be received anti filed, seconded by alderman Hosford, which was
passed unanimously by the Council. _
The Mayor reported that he had contacted Mr Swofford with reference to
making the 194 audit for the City, and'that Mr.Swofford would not promise to make the
audit till after April 1st.
There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, secon
by alderman Bronson, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the
Council adjourned. n

Alderman Bronson made a motion that the bills be allowed, as approved, sedonded by aldep
man Stubblefibeld, which was regularly passed by the Council.
The January reports of V.James Ptak, as Municipal Judge, J.W.McGehbe, as City
Collector and as City Clerk, were presented by the Clerk, alderman Sanders made a motion
that the reports be received and filed, seconded by alderman Banka, which was passed
unanimously by the Council.
There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, seconded
by alderman Bronson, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the
Council adjourned.
