Fayetteville City Council met in regular sessiom,-Monday, February 8th, 1943.
Present.: Mayor Geo.Vaughahv City Clerk J.W.McGehee, City Attorney Price Dickson, City
Engineer E.T.Brown. Police Chief'Dan Allen, Building Inspector Henry George,and alderm
Bronson, Banks, Gregory, Hosford, McRoy, Sanders and Stubblefield.
Minutes of the regular meeting of Febraary 1st; were read and approved.
The following bills were presented, after their approval by alderman Hosf ord, chairman
of the auditing committee

Alderman Bronson made
a motion
that the bills.be allowed,
as
approved, seconded by
alderman Stubblefield,
which was
regularly passed by the
Counvil.
nuary The January reports of Henry George as Building Inspector and as Acting
ports. Fire Chief of the Fire Department were presented by the Clerk, alderman Sanders made a
motion that the reports be received anfi filed, seconded by alderman Hosford, which was
passed unanimously by the Council.
The Mayor reported that he had contacted Mr Swofford with reference to
making the 1940)j audit for the City, and'that Mr.Swofford would not promise to make the
audit till after April 1st. P•
There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, secon
by alderman Bronson, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the
Council adjourned. n _

Minutes of the regular meeting of February Sth, were read and approved.
.The follwing bills were presented, after their approval by alderman Hosford, Chairman of
the auditing committee:

Alderman Bronson made a motion that the bills be allowed, as approved, sedonded by alder',
man Stubblefineld, which was regularly passed by the Council.
The January reports of V.James Ptak, as Municipal Judge, J.W.McGehbe, as City
Collector and as City Clerk, were presented by the Clerk, alderman Sanders made a motias
that the reports be received and filed, seconded by alderman Banka, which was passed
unanimously by the Council.
There being no further business, elderman McRoy moved to adjourn, seconded
by alderman Bronson, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the
Council adjourned.
