Mayor Geo9Vaughan, City Clerk J.W.McGehee, City Attorney Price Dickson, Ci#y* Ngineer E.T.Brown, Building Inspector Henry George, Police Chief Dan Allen, Aldermen; Bronson, Banks, Gregory, Hosford, McRoy, Shook and Stubblefield. Absent: Alderman Sanders* There being no.further business, alderman McRay moved to adjourn, sea by alderman Hosford, which was dul# passed -by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned. YEAR 1-9-4-2; To levy taxes for the year 1942, upon the real and persdnal.property within,the corporate.limits.of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas : BE IT RESOLVED BY THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLEV ARKANSAS SECTION I• That the rate of .taxes for the City General Fund purposes, for the year 1942,be, and.the same is here yea are o e. Five 5) Mills on each dollar of assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Fayette- ville, Arkansas,,as shown.by the Assessment Books for State and County purposes,and.that the same.is hereby levied; and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized.and directed to certify this levy to the County Clerk. of Washington .County., Arkansas, to. the end that the same be placed on,the books and collected with the State and County Taxes-.
