Section 9. It is hereby ascertained and declared that because of the fact

Dan Alliin presented the report of the Police Department, alderman Bronson made a notion that
the reports be received and filed, seconded by alderman Stubblefield. which was passed
unanimously by the Council.

or audit of the Plater Department, was presented, and alderman Hosford, chairman of the Water
ater Committee, made a motmon that the billebe allowed, seconded by alderman Stubblefield,

aylor The Clerk read a communication from Police Chief Dan Allen, in which he ad-
annah vised the Council that Taylor Hannah was ho longer carried on the records as a member of
of a the Police Departments that no Resignation had been furnished, bu t Mr Hannah had advised
smber him (Mr Allen) of his intention of accepting a job at New Port; Ark., and since Mr.HannAh
.Dept been absent without leave for five days, he was automatically suspended as a member of
the Department, effective October 1, 1942,

rnsend for preliminary work done in preparing the papers connected. with the City Airport bond
ill issue, was presented, and after discussion, alderman Gregory made a motion that the bill
be approved, with the provision that it be paid out of the proceeds of the bond sale, and
charged as expense of the bond issue,this motion was seconded by alderman Shook,and was
passed unanimously by the Council.
There being no further business, alderman IdcRoy moved to adjourn, secon
by alderman Bronson, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the
Council adjourned,
