Police Chief Dan Allen stated that he was having some complaints about large trucks
oading loading and unloading in front of some of the business houses causing a traffic con-
ock to gestion, after discussion, alderman Bronson made a motion that in'the case of the
pe placed Farmers Market,the matter be�referred to the City Engineer to work out a plan, whereby
qLt back the loading dock could be changed to the back of the Store,this motion was seconded
a� by alderman Banks, and was passed unanimously by the Council

There being no further business, alderman Hosford moved to adjourn, seconded
by alderman ffcRoy, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the
Council adjourned':' .

Viettry ember, but for the DURATION of the war, alderman Gregory made a motion that the Council
ld9 ooperate with Lir.Sonneman in every way, and that a COMIdITTE7 be appointed to work with
vlr.Sonneman.in selecting a location, and in working out the details of the construction of
he building,this motion was seconded by alderman McRoy, and was passed unanimously by tl
ouncil. The Mayor then designated the !#t� Street committee, consisting.of aldermen
anders, Shook and Stubblefield, as the Special committee;
Jo I ri Bynum The Mayor reported with reference to a CAR 4%RKER to take the place of Eldo
Car -Marker Colep that he had 2 applicants, viz: John Bynum and Joe Baker, after discussion, it was
decided that the Mayor be authorized to offer the place to John Bynum, at a salary of
''60.00 per month':
S it, City Attorney reported that he had filed suit against the Gulf Refining
filed to ompany to cancel a, lease on the City Airport, alderman Gregory made a motion that a

R.F.Jackson take the place of Patrolman, Lyle Allen, Who had been called to the Service, and that if

Dusk EXTRA DESK PATROLMAN) on as DESK PATROLMAN, on a monthly basis, in accordance with salary
Patrolman regulatuons as set up for PATROLMEN, Viz: beginning at $$80.00 per month.
There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, second

Lack of a,quorum was noted, and alderman McRoy moved to adjourn till Tuesday night at
8 mclock, seconded by alderman Bronson,which was passed unabimously, and the Mayor de-
clared the Council adjourned till Tuesday I'light at 8•- O -clock.
