ayetteville City Council met in regular session, Monday, May 18th, 1942s
resent: a`ayor Geo.Vaughan, City Clerk J,W,MoGehee, City Attorney Price Dickson, City
.T.Browns Building Inspector Henry George, Police Chief Dan Allen, aldermen; Bronson,
regory, Hosfmrd, McRoy Sanders, Shook and Stubblefield.
Minutes of the regular meeting of May 11th, were read and approved.
Phe following bills were presented, after their approval by alderman Hosford, chairman of
the auditing committee:

alderman Bronson made a motion that .the bills be allowed, as appproved, seconded by alder-
nan Banka;, which was. regularly passed by the Counsil•
Z.T.Boykin, County Sanitarian presented the names of four SUB CONTRACTORS, for
abbish disposal, for the purpose of speeding up the campaign of cleaning up the City, and
shed the approval of the Council, which was granted by common consent•
Mr.Boykin also told the Council that a Missouri Milk Co.was selling buttermilk in
ayetteville without•a permit, and suggested:that the Council decide whether they wantedlh
ilk Coto buy a permit, but no action was taken.

The Clerk read a letter from the Budd Post Company to the Fire Department, enclosing
.00 check for $50.00, and expressing their appreciation to the Fire Department for the effil ient
n sery�ces rendered at a recent fire at Budd Post Co. Mills,

Chief Dan Allen asked the:Council for an expression of their wishes

Alderman McRoy made a motion that the bills be allowed, as approved, seconded by alderman
Banks, which was regularly passed by the Council.

which was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Council in executive

and the Mayor declared the Council in regular session,
