ion that the Council recommend to the WATER COMMITTEE that they use their discretion as
o the amount of funds to be used for investment, also as to the type of DEFENSE BONDS
o be purchased.from the funds of the WATER DEPARTMENT, this motion was seconded by alder-
osford,, and was passed unanimously by the Council.

reports Collector, and as Clerk, for the month of March, and alderman McRoy made a motion that
reports be received and filed, seconded by alderman Bronson,which was passed unanimous)
by the Council*
At this time the Clerk read the VETO of Mayor Geo.Vaughan, Jr., on the

There being no further business, alderman Bronson moved to adjourn,
seconded by alderman Banks, which was duly passed.by the Council, and the Mayor deals
