There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, seconded by alder-
Brobson, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared,.�he Council adbourned.

ayetteville City Council met in regular session Monday, March 16th, 1942.
Present Mayor Geo.Vaughan, City 01erk, J.W.McGehee, City Attorney Price Dickson, City
Engineer E.T.Brown, Police Chief Dan allen, Aldermen; Bronson, Banks, Gregory,Hosford#
McRoy, Sandlers, Skook, Stubblefield.
Minutes Of the regular meeting .of Manch 9th were read and approved.
The folloging bills wer: rpresented;.p �c!.,,°,after their approval by alderman Hoaford,
chairman of theauditing commlctee:
Standard 011 Co. $33.47, Clarence Rice $12.00, Herschel Holloway $13.20, H.F.Pointer $8.400
Roy Lee Shumate $4.80, Howard Shumate $9.60, A.F.Shumate $22,500 Brown Vocationl Industries,
Inc. $465.35, ($365.35 to be paid now, and balance of $100.00 to be paid when installation
of all the radio equipment is completed, and in good working order), alderman Hosford made
a motion that the bills be allowed, as approved, seconded by alderman Banks, which was passe
unanimously by the Council,
Alderman'Bronson made a motion that the Mayor be authorized to buy a copy of the
1x42 National Municipal Year Book, this motion was seconded by alderman Shook, and was
passed unanimously by the Council.
The Clerk presented the 3rd Annual report Of Street Improvement District N0.47,
nd alderman San"dbrsl made a pdtion that the report be referred to the auditing committeel0
seconded by alderman Hosford, which was passed unanimously by the Council'
There being no fufrher business, alderman Hosford moved to adjourn, seconded
Eby alderman Monoy, which was dull passed by the Counoil, and the Mayor declared the Counoil
adjourned,

The report of V.James Ptak, as Municipal Judge for the month of February was re
the Clerk, and alderman Bronson made a motion that the report be' received and filed,
conded by aldderman McRoy, which was passed unanimously by the Cotnclre
Alderman Sanders made a motion that Police Chief Dan Allen be authorized to go
o Litt$e Rock, to attend m Stat e:YYide'Safety & Defense meeting To be held.March 30 &31st,
this motion was seconded by alderman Banks, and was passed unanimously by the
Council.
