Vauhhan, City Clerk J.W.MoGeWe, City-Xttorney Price bickson, Gi'-, rolice Chief Dan Allen, Aldermen; Bronson,.Banks, uregory, Hosford, McRoy,•&Iandera,Shook and Stubblefield. Minutes of the regular meeting of February 16th, wereB read and approved. Thefollowing bills were presented, after their approval by alderman Hosford,chairman of the auditing Committee ' S.W.Gas & Electric Coo $14.75 S.W.Gas do Electric Co. 11:84 Hugh cool $5.40 Dan Allen 5.50 E.A.Martin Const. Co 1.28 Roy Ise Shumate 14.40 Gus Caple 75.00 Clarence Rice 13.20 A.F.Shumate 22.50 Montgomery -Ward CO 6.12 Herschel Holloway 7.20 Alderman McRoy made a motion that the bills be allowed, as apprmved, seconded by alder- manBronson, which was regularly passed by the Council. To move A communication was read by the.Clerk from Dr.Nedl Compton, City Health Officer; Garbage ir-.which he certified that Mr4H.L.Wnodward and himself had inspected a site proposed disposal to be used by H.G:Ward forafiittmzedisposal of garbage, and .that they. had found the proms site posed site to be satdsfactory to them, alderman Bronson made a motion that MraWard be given permission to move his garbage disposal to the proposed site, seconded by aldermat Banks, which was passed u::nanimously by the Vouncil St.Como to buy Alderman Sanders, chairman of the Street Committee stated that the Street T1616 Department was in need of a truck, and alderman Bronson made a motion that the matter be truck* referred to the Street Committee, with power to aot, with the approval of the _Board of Public Affairs, this motion was seconded by alderman Banks, and was passed unanimously by the Council* There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, seconded by I Bronson, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Ma .or declared the 18ounc: adjourned. Police Dept, and the Mayor st&tedif there was no objection that the report be received and filed. 11941 I A copy of the audit of the City of Fayetteville, for the year 1941, prepared iaudit by R.C.Frambers & Co., was presented, and alderman Bronson made a motion that the Audit be referred to the Finance Committee, seconded by alderman Sanders, which was passed unar imously by the Council. Sewer The question of the monthly rates being paid by residents of the City, to Disposal Sewer Project No. lol4m R (Sewer Disposal Plant) came up for discussion, and alderman rates Sanders made a motion that the matter be referred to g"riaahe`Co tt to check up on, a report back to the Council at the next regular meeting, this moon was seconded by ald man Bronson, and was passed unanimously by the Council'. $50.00 Alderman Sanders made a motion that the sun of $50.00, be given to the to Fund for FIRST AID AND CASUALTY STATIONS, being raised by the EMERGENCY MEDICAL DIVISION OCD* of the&OCD, this motion was seconded by alderman Banks, and received the unanimous vote of the Council, There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn}, second ed by alderman Hosford, which was duly passed by the Council, anda Mayor declared the Council adjourned.
