Alderman Sanders_. made a motion"`that the 1941 assessment for paving intersections
in :Street Improvement District no 54, amounting•'to 140.00s and the 1941-1942 assessments
in Street Improvement District No.47, amounting to 121.02 ($60.51 for each year) be alllowed,
this motion was seconded by alderman Gregory, and was passed unanimously by the Councilol
Alderman Shook made a motion to to into executive session, seconded by alderman
Banks, which was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Council iln
executive sessich, after discussion of various administrative matters, alderman Bronson)
moved to go out of executive session, secoded by alderman Sanders, which was passed unanimously
by the Council, amd the Mayor declared the Council 1h regular session;
•otest ofl The protest of Dr.W.J.Baerg, relative to the 1941 Assessment on his property in
.J.BaergBlook 7, Lots 1 & 2, in annex No.l to Sewer 2inprovement District ao. 1, was read by the
denied �lerk, and after discussion, alderman Sanders made a motion that Dr.gaerg be notified that
his protest had been fileAV too late for the Council to consider,and that his letter would be
referred to the•Board of Assessorsfor theifconsideration when thay make their next assess'-
mento this motion was seconded by alderman Banks, and was passed unanimously the Council;
Vere being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, seconded by alder-
man Shook, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Keil adjoi ed.

The reports of Vjames Ptak for the month of January,.and the reports of J.W.McG•ehee
s City Collector and as City Clerk for the month of December, were read by the Clerk, and alm
derman Gregory made a motion that the reports be received, and filed, seconded by alderman
Banks; which was passed unanimously by the Council*
Alderman Hosford, chairman of the Light Committee presented a list of requests
is for Street lights (Johnso&Walnut-Mission Wohhson-Gunter & )nasion -Louise & Vandeventer-I
Hughes & Lindell -York &Lindell- E:Spring & Walnut- Hall & Cleveland), and alderman Gregory
made a motion that the Light Committee be authorized to install at! their discretion, upto
10 lights, this motion was seconded by alderman Banks, and was passed unanimously by the
Council,,
There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, seconded by
alderman Shook,which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor. declared the Council
