Copy of notice follows : NOTICE OF S PEC IA L MEET IRG To the Members of the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas: Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, will be held in the City of Fayetteville at the City Ha at 7:30 O'clock P.P3., on the 29th, day of October, 1941, for the uuroose of considering the filling of 2 vacancies that ts,-reported,to -have oc�currsd.in, the Fire Department Geor e a a g ,g n6/Jr., mayoF CONSENT TO MFETING We, the undersigned members of the City Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, hereby accept service of the foregoing motive, and consent and agree that said Council shall meet at the time and place therein named, and for the purpolse therein stated. Present: Mayor Geo. Vaughan, City Clerk J.W.McGehee, aldermen; Banks, Gregory, Hosford, McRoy, Sanders, Shook,and Stubblefield. Absent: Bronson. Greer, member of the Bood ,of AssessnDs for Paving Di - 11 Wilsomrict No.54, the Mayor put the question "Shall the PROTESTVallowed", or sustained ?, and on nes roll call by the Clerk, the following vote was recorded: Ayes None. Nays: S. and the May a r, refused declared the Protest denied'. A Petition signed by 8 property owners, was read by the Clerk,calling attention to a ul foungacancy on the Board of Commissioners in Sewer Improvement District No.l, and Annex no 11to Iewer Improvement District No.l, caused by the recent death of W.N.Gladson, and recomnening pointed the appointment of Paul Young, Jr, to fill the vacancy, and alderman Bronson made a motiln rnn.in khat Paul Young Jr. be appointed as Commissioner in Sewer Improvement District No.l and in wer No lAnnex to Sewer Improvement District No 1, and that the Clerk be instructed to notify Mr Young- &_ f his Appointment, this motion was seconded by alderman Stubblefield, and was passed un n- tnex 'nously b -y the Council.
