WHEREAS, James L.Carlisle has been continuously in•the employment of the City .of Fayetteville, Arkansas, since the year 1896, and VMEP.EAS, his services over this long period have been extremly satisfactory lisle and he.has been a very loyal and faithful servant of the City of Fayettevillo, and has ced at�ained the age of 73 years; z pay NOVJ, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Fayette villa, that James L.Carli be -,and he is hereby retired from active active duty of the City of Fayetteville, Arkans and from and after the first day of November, 1941, he shall be paid a salary of $50.00 per month, which sum shall.be in payment for his services,as a consultant, and for activ duty only in case of necessity; it being the sense.of this RESOLUTION that J.L.Carlislee because of his long years of experience in the operation of the Filter Plant of the City of Fayetteville,.is peculiarly qualified to direct the proper operations of the Filter Plant under abnormal conditions. Passed and approved this 13th, day of October, 1941.
