WrI1111 A Resolution from the Fire Department was read by the Clerk; in which they esolution requested permission to continue to use the City equipment to make runs outside the Cit sking I limits as they had done in the past, after discussuion, it was decided that an order ermissi previously given by the Mayor, ranted the authority asked in the Resolution, and that or no further action was necessary. Dan Allen, Fayetteville, Ark, Number 2. William Kelly, Tulsa, Okla'; Number 3. A.Clyde Holman , Winslow,Arkansasf an Allen Alderman Sanders made a motion that the City Clerk be instructed to advise hief Dan Allen "That he has been certified by Civil Service Commission as No.l man for offic olice of Chief of Police, please advise acceptance or rejection of this office within 5 days; if accepted, must report by September 10th, 1941". This motion was seconded by alderman Stubblefield, and received the unanimous vote of the Council.
