to investigate The question of establishing new Parking Zones for the Taxi Cabs, came
changing up for discussion, alderman Shook made,•a motion that the Mayor be instructed to make
Taxi Cab an investigation for a new location and confer with the Taxi Cab Companies in trying
parking to X74 make asatisfactory location for them, this motion was seconded by alderman McRoy
zones and was passed unanimously by the Councils
to equip Alderman Banks made a motion that the Police Committee be instructed to have
Patrol dar the Police Patrol Car properly LETTERED and equipped with Spot Lights and Siren, this
motion was seconded by alderman Gregory, and received the unanimous vote of the Council.
Alderman Bronsonmade a motion that the Council go into executive session,
seconded by alderman McRoy, which was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor
declared the Council in executive session, after discussion of various administrative
matters, alderman Banks moved to go out of executive session, seconded by alderman
Bronson, which was passed unanimously by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Council
in regular session. -
Alderman Bronson introduced the following RESOLUTION and moved its adoption
seconded by alderman.Gregory, and on roll call by the.0 er , received the following vote
Ayes; Bronson, Banks, Gregory; Hosford, McRoy and Shook, Nays: Sanders,.Absebt and not
voting: alderman Stubblefield.And the Mayor declared the Resolution adopted, as there
Resolution were 6 Ayes, 1 Nay.

Water Collector
in charge of That the Water Collector is hereby authorized and empowered by the City Council
supplies for to take over the management and operation of the Store Room consisting of all stocks
Water Dept* of merchandise, tools equipment belonging to the City Plater Plant, that he be required
6L�k to take a correct inventory of all merchandise, equipment, tools, and keep a correct
record of the same, receive all new merchandise, equipment and tools and disburse same
as needed in the operation mf the City Water System.

That in order that he may be able to take on said duties, that the Water
Collector be authorized to employ another helper in the office to be paid by said City
Water Plant. and the Collector be authorixed to employ said help at a salary of $50.00
per month.
That the said Water Collectmr be required to keep a complete record which
he shall have up to date at all times.
Passed and approved this 11th, day of August, 1941.

The question of installing a Two-way broadcasting system for the
Police department came up for discussion, and it was decided for the Police Committee
investigate the several different angles connected with the proposed installation.
There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn,
seconded by alderman Banks, which was duly passed by the Council•ancthe Mayor declared
the Council adjourned. / / /1
