A Referendum Petition, asking that Ordinance No.859, be referred to a vote of people at the next general elction, to be held the lst Tusday in April 1942, was pres and read by the Clerk, containinIg 67 individual signatureR 3 Firm names;, after discuss alderman Sanders made a motionthat Ordinance No:859 be held in abeyance till the mext general election, provided that the certificate of the City Clerk shows that there are sufficient signatures on the petition, this motion was seconded by alderman McRoy, and passed unanimously by the Council'. Alderman Sanders made a motion that the Mayor and City Attorney meet with Me_. H.G.Ward and work out some system of collection under the old Garbage Ordinance, No.82' this motion was seconded by alderman Banks, and was passed unanimously by the Council. The Mayor presented the request of Chad McClelland for a 2 weeks Vacation, wi pay, but after discussion, no action was taken. .00 ted n, D The Mayor presented the matter of enforcing the Double Parking, and said the Truck Brivers had made a request for an Unloading Zone in each Block, but after discussion, it was decided this would not be practical, but that there was nothing to prevent them from using parking space when available, the same as any other car. Alderman Bronson moved to go into executive session, seconded by alderman McR which was passed unanimous4 and the Mayor declared the Council in executive session, after discussion of various administrative matters,alderman Sanders made a motion to out of executive session,seconded by alderman McRoy, which was passed ubanimously, ar, the Mayor declared the Council in regular sessionp There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, seconded by alderman Shook, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Counc adjourned; Attest it, *dduz- J Approved 41 "I I
