Fayetteville City Council met in regular session, Monday, March 3rd, 1941.
Present: Payor A.D.McA lliater, City Clerk J.W.MCGehee, City,Attorney Price Dickson,
City Engineer E.T.Brown, and aldermen; Bronson, Banks, Hoefo d, McRoy, Peal, Sanders
and Shook. Absent: alderman Gregory.
Minutes of the regular meeting -of February 24th, were read and approved.
The following bills were presented, after their approval by alderman Peal, chairman of
the auditing committee:

Alderman Hosford made a motion that the bills be allowed, as approved, seconded by
alderman McRoy, which was regularly passed by the Council.
Pedro the Voder A letter from G.E.M.Johnson, Manager of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.
comes to town informing the Council that Pedro the Voder was coming to town, and inviting the
Council and members of theirfamilies to attend the entertaimment at tjie Main uilding
Auditorium on the University of Arkansas Campus Friday, March 7th, at 8 P.M. was read b;
the Clerk.
Being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, seconded by alder-
man Bronson, which was duly passed by tge Council, and the Mayor declared the Council
adjourned. vi

Paving The bill of the Northwest ABkansas Times for the Rdvertising done in connec-
District tion with the forming of several'P wing Improvement Districts under P.W.A.,,that were
Advertising formed,and failed to be approved, came up for discussion, and alderman RRanders made a
bill to the motion that the matter be referred to the City Attorney, frice Dickson, with instruction
N.W.Ark.Timesto make the best settlement, possible for these bills with the Northwest Arkansas Times,
allovaed. This motion was seconded by alderman McRoy and was passed unanimously by %he Council.

There being no further business, alderman Sanders moved to adjourn, seconded by alder-
