The Ordinance was read the second time, and after discussion, ald'erman Gregory made a motion that the rules be further suspended, and the Ordimance .placed on its third and final reading, this motion was seconded by alderman Brobson,.and on roll call by the Clerk received the unanimous vote of the Council. The Clerk then read the ordinance the third and final time. The Mayor then put the question " Shall the Ordinance pass", and on -roll call by the C1 the following vote resulted: Ayes: Bronson, Banks, Gregor$r, ifosford? McRoy,and Sanders. Nays: None. Absent and not,voting: Peal and Shook* And the Mayor declared passed, as th were 6 Ayes and no Nays. Alderman Gregory moved the adoption of the emergency clause, seconded by ald McRoy, and on roll call by the Clerk, the e.following votes>was:T;recorded: Ayes: Bronson, B Gregory, Mbsford, McRoy and Sanders. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT OF AUTOMOBILE DEALERS MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSES FIXING LICENSE FEES THEREFCR`AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED'BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS: SECTGON ONE: All persons, firms, corporations or associations daling in new or used Motor Vehicles within the City of Fayetteville, who are required to purchase Dealer's licenses for such vehicles from the State of Arkansas, shall also be required to purchase a Motor Vehicle.license or licenses from the City of Payettevilles SECTION TWO: Each such "ealer shall be required to purcl3ase One Master Licen and as many additiomal tags as and purchased by said Dealer from the Commss=ner ai� Revenues of the State of Arkansas, for State of Arkansas Dealer's License and Tags. SECTION THREE: The Master License or Tax hereinabove mentioned shall be $10.01 per annum and all additional Dealer's Tags shall be $2.50 per annum, subject to the same discounts and prorated payments as are now, or may hereafter be provided for pres- ent City Auto Tags or Licenses. SECTION FOUR: Any person, firm, corporation or association failing to pay the license fee, or to purchase tags herein required within the time now or hereafter pre- scribed for purchase of Fayetteville Automobile License Tags shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereofl shall be fined in any sum not exceeding Three times the cost of such license or licenses. SECTIO FIVE: A110rdinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith, insofar as they apply to Dealer's Tags or licenses are hereby repealed• and thislordi nance being necessary for the peace, health and safety of the residents of the City of Fayetteville, an emergene#.. is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after.its passge, approval and publication.
