Fayetteville City Council met in regular session, Monday December 16th,19400
Present: Mayor A.D.MeAllister, City Clerk J.W.McGehed, City Attorney Price Ddokson,
City Engineer E.T.Brown, and aldermen; Bronson, Banks, Gregory, Hosford, McRoy, Peal,
Sanders and Shook.
Minutes of the regular meeting of December 9th, were read and approved.
The following bills were presented, after their approval by alderman Peal, chairman of
the auditing committee:

Alderman Bronson made a motion that the bills be allowed, as approved, seconded by
alderman Shook, which was regularly passed by the Council':
Mayor McAllister and City Attorney Price Dickson reported on the Arkansas Municipal
League meeting in Little Kock, December 9th, and alderman Sanders made a motion that
the expense of this Committee, amounting to $26.530 be allowed ,this motion was seconc
by alderman Brobson, and was passed unanimously by the Council's
Mr*Winfield Botts came before the Council and explained in detail the plan of the
Community Group Hospitalization, and asked for the endorsement of the Council, but afi
discussion, no action was taken.
Alderman Sanders made a motion that C.W.Beaver be appointe,�a Commissioner in
Paving District No 52, to succeed Mrs Pearl Whitener, who has moved out of the District'
this motion was seconded by alderman Hosford s and was passed unanimously by the Counci:
Alderman Peal, cha'an of the auditing committee reported that he had examined
the report of the Commissi�d"ners of Annex Nol to Sewer Improvement District No 1, and
found it to be correct, and made a motion that the report be received and filed, this
motion was seconded by alderman Gregory, and received the unanimous vote of the Council'
The report of the Commissioners of Annex No 1 To SouthgCollege Avenue Paving
District No 1 was presented, and alderman Bronson made a motion that the report be re-
ferred to,the auditing committee, this- motion was seconded by alderman "anders, and was
passed unanimously by the Council.
There being no further business, alderman Gregory moved to adjouen; seconded by
alderman McRoy, which was duly passed by the Council, and .the Mayor declared the Counci
adjourned.

Alderman Gregory made a mo#ion that the bills be allowed, as approved, seconded by
alderman Banks, which was regularly passed by the Council
Alderman Sanders made a motif t 3� f A.F.SHUMATE be raised from
$20.00, per week to $22.50 pef wee `,for ,gwG,. with the understanding that
this raise would also take care of Gas & 0, Ine time of hauling leaves in the Fall
Seasons this motion was seconded by a Merman Hosford, and was passed unanimously by
the Council*
A Petition signed by all the property owners in Block 2 of Wilsons First Addition, was
submitted, asking the Council to approve a Plat of said Block, closing 2 Alleys; after
discussion, alderman Bronson made a motion that the matter be referred to the Street
Committee and City Engineer to investigate and report back to the Council at the next
meeting, this motion was seconded by alderman Hosford, and received the unanimous vote
of the Council,
