The following reports fob the month of September were read by the Clerk:
Roy Nix, as Sewer service Collector, Clyde Walters as building InspectoD,A.D.McAllister
.Reports as Ex -officio Chief of the Fire Lepartment and as Ex -off ioio Chief of Police, V.James
Ptak, as Municipal Oudge for the -City, and as M.Judge for the `'ounty, J.W.McGehee as
e Collector and as City Clerk,alderman Gregory made a,.motion that the reports be receive
and filed, seconded by aldei,manHosford, which was dulynpassed by the Council*
Alderman Gregory made a motion that the Council go into executive session,
seconded by alderman Bronson, which was eegularly passed by the Counoll, and the Mayor
declared the Council in executive session, after discussion of various administrative
utters, alderman oronson moved to go out of executive session, seconded by aldrman
&egory, which was regularly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the gouncil
to regular session. ,
There being no further business, alderman McRoy moved to adjourn, secondee
by alderman Banks, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the
Council adjourned.

Fayetteville City Council met in regular session, Monday November 4th, 1940
The absence of the Mayor was noted and alderman Hosford made a motion that alder-
man Sanders be elected Mayor- protem, seconded by alderman Bronson, which was passed
unanimously by the Council.
The Clerk then called the roll and noted the following present;
City Clerk J.W•McGehee City Engineer E.T.Brown, and aldermen: Bronson, Banks, Gregory,
Hosford, MoRoy, Peal, danders and Shook.

Keb Stone
It was suggested that there was a vacancy on the Board of Trustde'e of the

City Hospital, caused by B.H.Stone having changed his residence to Sullivan? Rissouri�

and a request having,been filed by the Board of Trustees; through their Secretary, Mr.
City Hospital
Art Lewis, that the Council appoint Mr.Keb Stone to fill this vacancy,alderman Randers
made a mo$ion that Keb Stone be appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees'to fill
the vacancy cause by B.H.Stone having moved out of the State,this motion was seconded
by alderman Hosford$ and received the unanimous vote of the Council*
