Alderman Sanders introduced the following Resolution and alderman Bronson moved
its adoption.
RESOLUTION
�J WHEREAS, the assessment Roll in Street Improvement Districts # 47, insufficiently
describes some of the Property in said district,
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council o the City of Fayettteville,
esolutionthat said assessment roll be referred to the Board of ASSES�RS of said Improvement District

correctil# 47 for the purpose of correcting all insufficient or erroneous descriptions of property
n0 thin said Districts, but phis resolution shall not.affect any property , properly" or
(sufficiently described on the present assessment roll.

There being no further business, alderman Hosford moved to adjourn, seconded by alderman Bronson
which was regularly passed by the Council. and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned,',.

690.00, A.F.Shumate $20.00 and Willie Wilcox $$12.00. Alderman Bronson made a motion tl
the bills be allowed, as approved, secodded by alderman Sanders, which was duly passed
the Council.

report
of
the
Board of
Public
Affairs,
with reference to
the
purchase of
a
m(
National
Truck,
from
the
Phillips
Motor
Co. was
read by the Clerk,
also
a report
of
tl
Plannigg Commission, reccommending that the City Council take some steps to extend the
P,epont of Limits before the time to take the 1940 census.
Alderman Carter made a -motion that the reports be received and filed, seconded b;
Board of Shook, which was passed unanimously by the Council.
Public Affairs A request from J.C.Campbell that the name of"Huntsville Road" be changed,stating
caused quite a bit of confusion. The Council discussed the request, but took no action
on neva

Purchase of an electric Sweeper for the City Administration Building was discuss
and alderman Sanders made a motion that the matter be referrdd9 to the Building committ
with power to act , secondedH by alderman Bronson, which was passed unanimously by the
Council.
"It having been reported to the Council that the Two Taxi Companies had been tunable
agree on•the spaces allotted to them on North East Street, alderman Sanders made a mot
that the space on the west side be allotted to the O.K. Taxi Company, seconded by alde
Carter, and on rollcall by the Clerk was passed unanimously.

Alderman Hosford made a motion that the Comncil go inti executive session, seconded by
alderman Sanders , which was passed unahimously and the Mayor declared the Council in Executive
session, adter discussion of various admdnistrative matters, alderman Hosford made almotion
that the4Council go out of Execut&ve Session, secondedH by alderman � , .vhich received the
unanimous vote of the Council amd the Mayor declard9 the Council in regWIar session.
There being no further business, alderman Gregory moved to adjourn, seconded by
alderman-Hosford, which was duly passed by the Council, and the Mayor declared the Council
adjourned.
