Fayetteville City Council met in regular session, Monday December 12th, 1938.
esent: Present: Mayor, A.D.McAllister, City Clerk, J.W.McGehee, City Aytorney, Price Dickson,
City Engineer, E.T.Brown, and aldermen: Bronson. Carter, Gregory, Hosford, Peal,Sanders,
Shook and Ucker.
Minutes, Minutes of the regular meeting of December 5th, weee read and approved.
The following bills were presented, after their approval byXX alderman Peal chairman of
the auditing committee; Jackson Cafe $4.95, Ben Porter $17.50, Bud Collins 64.00, Elmer
Boyd $4.00.9 A.F.Shumate $22.50, Willie Wilcpx $"12.00, Otho Shumate $12.00. Alderman
Bronson made a motion that the bills be allowed as approved, and the Clerk be instructed

Work up proj= Alderman Uregory made a motion that the Street Committee cooperate with Engineer,

Theea being no further business, alderman Broson moved to adjourn, seconded by
alderman Peal „ which was duly passed by the Council. and the Mayor declared the

Bills: Bud Collins $2.00, Elmer Boyd $2.00, A.F.Shumate $22.50, Billie Wilcox $12.00, And
Otho Shumate $12.00. Alderman Shook made a motion that the bills be allowed, as approved,

Who made the trip to Little Rock, December 15th, to attend the meeting of the Arkansas
Municipal League in the interest of the Gasoline Turn -back for the Cities of Arkansas.
The following Resolution was presented by alderman Gregpry, who moved its
adoption, seconded by alderman Peal, which received the following vote: Bronson,Carter,
Gregory. Hosford, Peal, Sanders, Shook and Ucker. The Mayor declared the Resolution
adoptet,d; as there were eight Ayes and no Nays.

ville, Arkansas, be instructed and authorized to accept as satisfactory, and ih accord-
ance with the Building Codes of the City of Fayetteville asbestos siding as a fire

There being no further business, alderman Brohson moved to adjourn till Seven Thirty
P.M.,Tuesday, December 27th, E1938, alderman Carter seconded the motion, which was
passed unanimously, and the Mayor declared the Council adjourned.
